Cynthia Elizondo. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. My masters degree was in Counseling and Psychological Services from the University of St. Mary's.
My clinical areas of interest include: depression, anxiety, bipolar illness, borderline personality disorder, domestic abuse, adjustment and interpersonal difficulties, grief and loss, and coping with serious and persistent mental illness. I provide a collaborative healing environment to help a client learn to seek balance in Mind, Body, Spirit and Relationships so he/she can reach their highest potential. My client-centered therapy includes interventions such as mindfulness, cognitive bahvioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
My intention of this blog is the provide inspiration and encouragement to those who struggle with the fast-paced nature of our world.
